Forgot Password

Forgot your password? No worries! Here's how you can reset your password:

  1. Go to Forgot Password
  2. Enter your sign-in email and Submit.
  3. The system will email the reset steps if your email matches. Check SPAM if no email in 10 minutes
  4. Still nothing? Submit the User Support form.
Forgot Security Questions

Follow these steps if you’ve forgotten your security questions:

  1. Contact your local administrator for help.
  2. If you don’t know who that is, submit the User Support form.
Forgot User Type (PIN/PHONE)

Forgot your user type? No problem!

  1. Go to User Lookup
  2. Enter your BIS sign-in email and hit Submit.
  3. The system will email your user type if your email matches.
  4. Check your SPAM folder if you don’t get it in 10 minutes.
  5. Still nothing? Submit the User Support form.
Can I include Personal Health Information (PHI) in an email?

No, please don’t send PHI by email.

Examples of PHI: Patient names, OHIP numbers, chart numbers, or client ID numbers.

How to properly share PHI information:

  1. If you are a BIS user, use the Messages tab inside the BIS to send PHI securely.
  2. Otherwise, contact or call BORN (1-855-881-BORN #2676) to find a secure way to share it.
How do I Request Data from BORN Ontario?

All data requests are reviewed under the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), Ontario's health-specific privacy legislation.

How to request data:

  1. Submit the Data Request Inquiry form.
  2. A BORN Ontario Data Request/Research Coordinator will review it and follow up with you.

MIS · Midwifery Invoice System

I'm a Midwife, and I Need to Create a BIS Account

BIS accounts are created by your local administrator at your MPG (Midwifery Practice Group).

I'm a Midwife and I Have Access to the BIS. However, I Cannot Access the MIS

Access to the MIS (Midwifery Invoice System) is set up by your local administrator at your MPG (Midwifery Practice Group).

View Sonographer Curve

Do you need help viewing your sonographer curve? We can help you!

  1. Go to the BIS and log-in with your username and password.
  2. After logging in, select Reports.
  3. Select Clinical Reports.
  4. Select Individual Sonographer Curve.
  5. Select the date range and your NT number.
  6. Now, you can view your report and interpret your curve.
